Now that the holiday has passed, and all mothers have been celebrated, I can now show you the card I made for my mom. Ta-da!
Everyone say, “awwwwww.”
I mixed in a little new and retired product to pull off this special card. I really like how it turned out! Did you notice the banner framelits as the “M”s and the flowers as the “O” to spell out “MOM”? 😉
I enjoyed Mother’s Day with a family trip to Lake Geneva, Wis. My sister is visiting for the summer and so we all took off for the waterside. It so happened that my in-laws had planned to visit from Maryland this past weekend, so we met them at the lake.
We had a great time … wet and a little cold, but great!
Here I am with my little man. We took a stroll around the resort and stopped for a rest and photo.
It was nice to spend the weekend with my mother-in-law, too. It was pretty cool to show her a little part of Wisconsin during warmer weather this time.
Someone was a big fan of the lake. We took a boat tour around the lake to see the beautiful housing, and he watched the ripples in the water from the window.
And finally, the woman of the day! Since her two girls are in the Midwest, she was able to celebrate with my new sister-in-law at a mother/daughter tea. Thanks for holding down the fort Alexis! It looks like a fun time! 🙂
