Did you hear about the stamp sale going on now? If not check this out … HERE!
Well, have you ever been on the fence about becoming a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator? Interested? Just a little?? It’s okay, I don’t bite … here’s what I figured out for the most savings.
To join my stampin’ team, the starter kit is $99 plus tax. You get a lifeline to all things stamping, inside deals, products and events (trips). But that’s just the cake … here’s what you get to take home.
Stamps added to starter kits are also 15% OFF, so a starter kit’s value for stamp goodies (which you get to choose) is around $150. Ahem, let me break that down for you … get $143.75 of stamps in the starter kit for $99 plus tax and NO shipping fees! That’s MORE than the average savings for the starter kit!
How much does it cost to become a demonstrator?
The only cost associated with becoming a demonstrator is for the Starter Kit. Currently the price of the kit is $99 with free shipping (an additional 10% savings). The starter kit is completely customizable, which means you get to choose any current products up to a total of $125 (this is more during this week due to the sale), which helps you work your business your way and never worry about duplicating supplies you already have just to become a demonstrator. Through the new-demonstrator program called Stampin’ Start, it is even possible to receive a $175 cash bonus at the end of your first 6 months as a demonstrator, which essentially pays you back for your starter kit (and then some)! However, more savings can be made with the stamp deal going on now.
Still on the fence? Really? Okay, so the question I usually get asked is, “What is the quarterly minimum I need for sales?” The answer is $300, but that’s only if you are using Stampin’ Up! as your business. I like to use mine as business, but there was once upon a time when I became a demonstrator because I wanted a craft discount and a tax write off! Yep, me! Anywho … guess what!? If you were to join my team, and then find that you couldn’t get up to that $300 quarterly minimum then Stampin’ Up! doesn’t throw you off the boat just yet. No penalties for having not met the quarterly goal, you would have until April to reach the minimum with no changes in your discount or savings. Huh, doesn’t sound so scary now, does it? Sound a little more like it? Probably does since the average crafter spends more than that in 3 months. Oh and remember, you get access to attend those cool conventions with me and get free stampin’ stuff, too!
What do I get when I sign up?
After you sign up you get to customize your Starter Kit. The starter kit includes your choice of up to $125 (don’t forget to add in the 15% off in stamp savings this week), in Stampin’ Up! products at a discount (around 20% off retail), plus business forms and supplies. In addition, you will receive our monthly Stampin’ Success magazine and have access to the exclusive demonstrator portion of the Stampin’ Up! website, which has all sorts of wonderful tools designed to help you build your business or find inspiration in your hobby/business.
What if I want to stop being a demonstrator?
Simply stop placing orders. If your quarterly minimums aren’t reached (and after a month of being in “pending” status – this is after the 7 month mark … remember still in the boat?), you will lose your demonstrator privileges. No questions asked, nothing to return. You keep all your fabulous stuff, which of course includes your Starter Kit contents!
Oh yes, and you get ME as your coach. I enjoy crafting and love to teach my loved ones about all of the techniques I use to make hand-made cards, scrapbooks and more!
So who wants to take advantage of the stamp sale, earn extra hostess rewards and save money while getting a first-class pass to all things stamping? Don’t wait too long, the stamp sale ends October 23rd.
