I thought it was very pretty, and the wreath that came in the kit was awesome, too!

Are you ready for a special sneak peek at May’s Paper Pumpkin kit?

They have it tagged as “Many Manly Occasions,” but I see a lot of potential for other projects, too. My friend who loves Harley Davidson is going to love this kit! 🙂

Sign up for your subscription by May 10th to receive this Paper Pumpkin kit. It’s easy! Just like a magazine subscription … except with your own personal login, you can skip months if you need to or temporarily suspend the shipments, then jump back into the mailing system when you feel inspired to create. So cool, right!?

And again … here’s our retired list!

Tickle me pink, or blue, or …

Since this month’s tax deadline, I’ve been going through inventory (my own stash … inventory sounds more official) of paper products. I’ve been organizing my designer series paper (DSP), which I found these cute little clear folders to insert them into as suite groups so they are accessible on my paper racks.

I’ve also been getting my “ducks in a row” as far as my cardstock, too! The cardstock is usually updated each year to reflect the addition of new In-Colors to the fresh Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.

OnStage (convention) was last week and we as demonstrators are allowed to share some of the display boards with you!

I can’t wait until these new colors are available in June! Can you?

Here’s the list:

Dapper Denim

Emerald Envy

Flirty Flamingo

Peekaboo Peach

Sweet Sugarplum

Pretty amazing colors, right!?

As the new catalog debuts in June, there will be certain changes to pricing as is normal with the general market. Colored cardstock paper will be one of those items with a slight added increase so, I’ve been stocking up on the colors I need now before that happens.

IMG_0964

I like to see all of my color combinations on one page. I don’t always have the time to flip to the color section in my catalog so, with a punch, I get to work combining all of my colors to this cheat sheet. It comes in very handy!

This also helps me to make sure that I use up the previous year’s In-Color collections to make way for the new.

I love Blushing Bride cardstock. It just seems to go with everything!

What’s your favorite color? Comment below!

I have to tell you … I took a quick look at the NEW 2016-2017 Annual Catalog and I can’t wait to get started on some of the projects. I even have to share that demonstrators are able to suggest new product ideas to the main office and one of my ideas was redeemed! How cool is that!? I’m just going to go ahead and take credit for it … ah hem, thank you, thank you! 😉 No, I’m sure there are others who enjoy the same things I do. I will give you a hint … you can put food inside it. Guess yet? Welp, I can’t tell until the catalog goes public on June 1st. However, if you take a close look at the cover you may figure it out.

Want the NEW catalog?

The sun is about to set on the current Stampin’ Up! catalog and rise with the new 2016-2017 catalog.

Did I get your attention?

Good! Well, it’s true … I feel like the current catalog and all of its cool supplies really made great additions to my craft room. This weekend is the annual Stampin’ Up! convention in Utah (regrettably, I’m not there since I’m on vacation). #sorrynotsorry

I’ve been paroozing the internet looking for a glimpse of the new In-Colors and also a sneak peek of some of the new products, but just like I guessed, they are keeping things tightly “under the hat.” Just a perk of being at convention and also a demonstrator. I will be able to see the new catalog on Monday so I don’t have much time to wait. To get your catalogs and pre-order products earlier than your customers CLICK HERE!

So here’s all of the details on the catalog release:

Screen Shot 2016-04-16 at 5.07.22 PM

Current customers receive the new catalog as a personal gift from me. Yippie!                           (Qualifications for a “current customer” include Paper Pumpkin subscribers and/or attendees of each monthly class and/or hosting a workshop yearly.)

Want the new catalog delivered to your mailbox, but don’t fall into these categories? Call me, let’s chat. 😉

Crafting Retreat Survey

So I have a little secret … I LOVE crafting retreats! Okay, that’s not a big secret.

If you’ve never been to one, trust me, you are missing out!I have a beautiful location in mind and before I book, I need to see if there’s an interest!

Packing

A weekend full of creative minds at a disclosed location (sorry hubby … not going to find me) where you can hide away and work on your crafts. ANYTHING crafts … cards, memory keeping (these are my faves), sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, photography, repurposing, and the list goes on! I even have friends who don’t fit into the whole “craft person” persona and that’s just fine, but they’ve come and had a great time with their girlfriends and enjoy the walking trails, movie nights, reading/writing, sleeping uninterrupted (LOL) and outside activities just as much.

Hey, I even met the World’s Tallest Cow at one! 😉

Screen Shot 2016-04-12 at 12.39.05 AM

I’d love to hear what your favorite part of a crafting retreat would OR could be … (you may have to open the survey on your computer web browser).
