As stated in an earlier blog post, customers were reminded to hold on to those Bonus Days codes and put them in a safe place (I cannot access the codes for you if they are lost). This redemption period begins on August 2nd. YEEHAW!

Do you favor this Thoughtful Branches bundle? If so, beginning August 2nd is the time to order as this item is a LIMITED TIME offer. Loving mine, and yours can come just in time to use up those Bonus Days codes!

I see hydrangea layouts and cards in my near future … what do you think you can make out of this set?

If you are a current (ordering) customer and/or I have seen you recently at a class, keep an eye out for the new Holiday Catalog in coming soon in your mailbox! Mailings begin the week of August 15th.

I’m really excited to share this catalog with you as it has many fun holiday goodies inside! If you are close to the Frederick/Carroll/Howard/Montgomery County areas and want to check out this catalog and some of the new items then attend my next card class at Moxley’s Wooden Bowls and Handcrafted Items in downtown Mt. Airy, Md. Road trip!

Holiday Flyer Classes

And finally, I have a hostess workshop open! If you are placing less than $150 before tax/shipping, then help out my hostess and enter this code at the end of your order!

Hostess code: VMNQWRFQ

Help me reach my goal:

Stampin’ Up! OnStage registration is approaching quickly and my goal is to generate enough “flex points” for me to attend for FREE! I only have 1171 points to go!

$1 order = 1 flex point

For every dollar spent in orders, I earn one flex point. So keep the orders coming and thank you to those of you who have placed an order this year!

The OnStage event is in Madison, Wis., this November so I will have double the fun as I will also get to visit some Midwest friends, too!

Interested in joining me for this adventure? New recruits get to attend OnStage for FREE after signing up to be on my team. Only thing it will cost you is a plane ticket and hotel. Come visit the cheese state with me while enjoying crafting and getting that first glance at all of the new products to come!

Thanks for hanging in there with me as I covered all of the cool things happening this month and next! Happy Stampin’!

Summer nights …

… “drifting away, oh uhhhhh ah, summer nights.” Tell you more?

I was making this graduation card while reminiscing back to high school days last week with a friend and I can remember singing the Grease montage in Performance (Show) Choir. Summer Nights was a favorite of mine.

I was looking through the new dsp paper pack and found some sunlight bursts and thought how cute it would look with the new mason jar collection paired with “lightening bees” as my son calls the little critters.

Summer and warmth, lightening bugs and pretty sunsets always makes me smile and hopeful.

There’s a couple of different papers in the pack and so I made this birthday card, too.

Then I decided to get out the fish and use it in a card design. It’s so cute (if fish can be cute).

Those summer niiiiiggghhhtttttsss!

You’ve got this!

Everyone likes hearing those words every now and again. “You’ve got this” can be applied to  most any situation.

Sympathy cards, congratulations cards, get well cards … and even birthday cards.

Sometimes you just might feel like a fish swimming around and around in that jar of water until one day … whoohoo, freedom!

That’s kind of  how I feel with my scrap pile. So many options and so few rules … creativity at its best.

See? You can make something nice out of a pile of mismatched scrap paper like candles on a birthday cake.

This last card is also an assembly of mismatched pieces. Some retired product and some new. Of course, I like it for the mason jar.

Keep on truckin’

I keep hearing that coloring is very therapeutic. It’s one of those things that keeps people going down the sanity path … haha! I guess that’s why I enjoy crafting so much.

I used the Country Livin’ stamp set this time.

It took me a little longer to do than my average card design, but I enjoy the watercolors mixed with stamping and I believe they turned out quite well.

The orange was my last card and happens to be my favorite. I did a little more shading on it.

I like giving objects definition as it really brings the stamp to life.

This turquoise truck reminds me of an old classic.

Red is a very rustic color and so I added a little of the tan baker’s twine to “tie in” the theme.

I just enjoy dual-purpose cards for men and women to enjoy, don’t you?

Which card is your favorite?

JULY promotion!!

Sit down … really, sit down if you aren’t already. 😉

July’s promotion is here …

I urge you, do NOT skip reading the fine print! I will not be able to rectify lost codes or combined orders once placed.

Now that I’ve scared the beegeezes out of you … here’s the fun part!

Screen Shot 2016-07-05 at 3.39.53 PM.png

Sounds like fun, right!? I have a few things that I still need to get on my list. Don’t forget to wait until July 7th (Thursday) to order for it to be counted in the promotion.

Did you see the part about having an email address and also managing your OWN codes? Just checking! 😉

Not sure what you would use your redeemable cash code for? I mean, there’s a ton of stuff in the catalog … however, here’s something NOT in the catalog that is exclusive. Starting August 2nd, the Thoughtful Branches bundle will be open for ordering.

Screen Shot 2016-07-05 at 3.49.30 PM.png

I dig trees … get it!? This is too cute to pass up, too! Since this set is exclusive, it will ONLY be available until August 31st while supplies last.

And just for some icing on top of that cake … check out the Pinterest board for more ideas on how to use this bundle.

Masons of love

I have been itching at the chance to use the new mason jar stamp set (Jar of Love, item # 142342) and framelits dies (Everyday jars, item # 141490) ever since getting the new catalog!

I’m all for anything vintage-looking and I jump at the opportunity to bring that theme into my stamping.

I love the shadowing stamp they included because I like to be able to add the look of water inside the jars. They really thought of everything with this stamp set!

Even down to the ribbon on the bow. There’s so many opportunities to combine this set with others in the catalog aside from the options within itself.

Another card completed for the rack at Moxley’s Shop in downtown Mt. Airy. Come and grab it before anyone else does!

Bing, bang, boom!

And just like that, you can have a card ready in a few simple easy steps!

Happy 4th July! I needed a thank you card quickly and so I grabbed some whisper white cardstock and the “firework” stamp, I like to call.

Punch a circle in the front and BAM!, instant card.

In a pinch for gift wrap? Reuse an old box and make it look pretty again!

Now grab some food and enjoy your day celebrating our nation’s birth!

Tractor nuts!

My father-in-law has a name for how crazy-much little man is for any kind of tractor, “tractor nuts!”

The first thing he does when we get to the barn is run for the other end of the cow barn, out the door and off to the shed where the tractors “sleep.”

He usually suckers his grandfather into getting a tractor ride (closed cab, after all safety first!) before heading into the house for supper.

The same goes for my dad’s tractors, too. Down to the barn he goes … “Up on tractor!”

Red or green, it doesn’t much matter as long as it has wheels. However, I seem to think he enjoys Memaw’s Ford tractor the most since it’s just his size.

Here’s the card little man and I made for Father’s Day, one in each color for each grandpa!

Thanks to Shawny for the great idea, I used different punches to make this design.

What have you made out of your punches?
