I’m so grateful …

Autumn is here and we are winding down fair time. The air is more crisp and the excitement of pumpkin patches and hayrides come to mind.

I’ve been waiting for an excuse to use the Vintage Leaves stamp set and framelits and so I set to work.

Do you see the Basket of Wishes set behind it? You’re going to have to wait for my “harvest” post to see what I created with that set. đŸ˜‰

Now, back to the leaves …

I made this for a special lady in our church. We’ve been working on decorations for a luncheon and I’m so grateful she’s included me for a second year!

I just love the colorful leaf in this card. I took the Sheltering Tree stamp set and planted a bare tree behind the leaf for more dimension.

And what goes best with leaves? Nuts!! The Nuts about You stamp set paired with the Acorn Punch and Banner Punch really add to this card.

Throw a few candy button brads and twine and you have “fall” stuffed in an envelope.

It was so easy, too! Just enough time to swing by the neighboring pumpkin patch, Brookfield Pumpkins.

I’m sure with October quickly approaching we will be visiting many festivals and patches.
